The ISO 9001 quality standard is the most widely recognized and established quality framework in the world. Through continually striving to exceed customer expectations for quality and service as well as a program of continuous improvement of our systems and processes, Highway Care has been certified to this standard for over 15 years.
We are audited by Det Norske Veritas (DNV Certification), a UKAS accredited certification body, against NHSS 2B, 12C, 12D and 18.
Highway Care is committed to minimising the impact of it’s operations on the environment and prevention of pollution by means of a programme of continuous improvement. To this end we have implemented environmental management systems and are proud that they have now been assessed and certified as meeting the requirements of ISO 14001:2004. This is the international standard for environmental management systems and is respected and recognised worldwide.
OHSAS 18001 is an international standard for Occupational Health and Safety management. It provides a framework for organisations to control its OH&S aspects, ensure legal compliance and to continually improve performance.
Highway Care has always been dedicated to the highest standards of health and safety in the workplace and to doing all that is reasonably practicable to prevent personal injury and damage to property and to protect everyone from foreseeable work hazards within their control. We believe that gaining certification to this standard demonstrates our commitment in this area and our desire for continuous improvement.
